Like cocaine and heroine, sugar is also a white powder that strongly affects the body, behaving more like a drug than a food or additive, and some experts say it can affect mental function and mood also. We all know how annoying we get when we haven’t had our fix….
According to Dr. Louis Aronne, who at the time of quoting was director of a US weight control centre, said of sugar “When they [people] eat sugar, just like when someone ingests cocaine, some people get that feeling of well-being, a rush that makes them feel good for a period of time. When the sweets are taken away, people just don’t feel right.”
Below are some of the PROS & CONS of Sugar. Some of them may not make sense to you, but enough of them will. I will hit you with the bad news first.

MY TWO CENTS WORTH.
Take a two week sugar holiday and see how different you feel and how much better you will look. Save yourself from all of those scary ass things listed above! As for me, napping is pretty much my favourite thing after sex. But when I decided to go 100% on the Paleolithic diet (google it if you don’t know it), I would excitedly lie down for my afternoon nap and NOTHING would happen. No matter how hard I tried, I could not sleep. I just had to get up again and use this new found, youthful, abundant energy that had been miraculously restored. I also lost all of that weight around the middle. Dammit.
